Crime in Frankford

From the Inquirer about the murder on Wednesday night. This seems to have been a domestic situation although it was at Frankford and Fouldrod which is our neighborhood hot spot.

Another three hours later, police found Michelle Hicks, 36, of Frankford, stabbed multiple times in her home on Frankford Avenue near Foulkrod Street, O'Brien said.

She was declared dead just before 9 p.m. at Frankford Hospital, O'Brien said. Police charged Richard Smith, 26, of the same address, in her death. It wasn't clear what his relationship hadbeen to Hicks.

This was the fourth murder in Frankford this year.
